The primary aim of our group is to provide a supportive and resource-rich environment for Colombian post-graduate students, facilitating meaningful connections, enriching experiences, and personal growth. Through targeted initiatives and collaborative efforts, we intend to:

·       To share knowledge and opportunities by fostering an open exchange of information, research insights, and academic resources among members, enabling each student to access mentorship, workshops, conferences, and internship opportunities relevant to their interests and career paths.

·       To support academic and professional development by organising seminars and networking events tailored to the needs of Colombian post-graduate students. We aim to connect members with leading academics, industry professionals, and alumni who can support their journeys and unlock new possibilities.

To realise our vision and aims, the group will focus on the following strategic objectives:

·       Regular Networking Events: Host monthly gatherings to encourage interaction and foster new collaborations as informal meetups.

·       Academic and Career Seminars: Host semester seminars, including guest speaker series, panel discussions, and skill-building workshops on topics such as grant writing, presentation skills, leadership, and career planning, addressing the unique challenges faced by international and Colombian students.

·       Resource Sharing Platform: Create an online platform where members can share resources, collaborate on research, post job or internship opportunities, and access useful university information.

Through our sustained efforts, we envision the group becoming a vital platform to support Colombian post-graduate students during their academic pursuits and accompany them as they transition into impactful careers around the world.
